- Coarse, harder straw
- Better stimulation of the gut than chopped wheat straw
- Low iron content, so ideal for white and pink meat calves
Tips for use
- Beef cattle and calves:
1100 - 300 grams per cow per day - Dairy cattle:
100 - 1000 grams per cow per day
The quantity per cow per day depends partly on the roughage and concentrated feed used.
